Description of the new feature / enhancement

  • Update UX to add section to General (or new pane) to manage enabling/disabling all PowerToy features. (ie: a checkbox list)
  • Update UX to automatically opt-in or opt-out based on user configuration/preference for new features/updates/behaviors. (Currently behavior is opt-in)

Scenario when this would be used?

When installing PowerToys onto a new Windows OS or user profile, it is a frustrating UX to have to go through every single PowerToys feature page and flip through all the toggles to turn off capabilities that I do not want enabled.

In addition, PowerToys will often automatically force users to opt-in to new features/behaviors without user consent.
