Basically it would be nice to eliminate the start window and replace this with PowerToysRun when pressing the [windows key].
Scenario when this would be used?
Beautifull, handy and specially clean. Don't need a redundant start button left under your taskbar as well anymore.
Supporting information
I think this should be really possible to do. Here are some notes of the current Windows 11 behaviour for the [windows key].
You only get the start window if you press and release the [windows key] button.
You only trigger a windows shortcut when pressing [windows key] and pressing a shortcut key. ( Note that no release of the key is needed to trigger a shortcut)
Proposed solution
Add a checkbox in the PowerToysRun section to replace behaviour 1, mentioned above, to trigger PowerToysRun instead of start window.
This could fall under #3269 but I assume it might be more easy to implement this for PowerToys Run
