Yes, that's what I want. |
this would be tracked via #5668 |
Description of the new feature / enhancement
Just as programs can be found and launched, I would like to open shortcuts to files and folders from Power Toys Run by typing in the short-cut name.
Scenario when this would be used?
I have a very long list of folders that I open up frequently, many of which are network folders and with deep folder structures. Instead of trying to navigate up and down through folders or search, it's very convenient to have a single folder full of shortcuts to the sub-folders I use. I would like to be able to open the shortcuts from Run.
Supporting information
Key Piranha has something similar in their "Files Catalog" package https://keypirinha.com/packages/filescatalog.html
This was also essentially how Launchy worked.
