Affected app
Name: CWA (Corona-Warn-App) v.2.21.1
Package id: de.rki.coronawarnapp

Describe the bug

  • I am running /e/OS 0.23-q on a FP3.
  • Since the latest update of the app I am facing an issue. CWA considers the device being rooted. It is not the case.

I reported the issue as well to CWA: corona-warn-app/cwa-app-android#5112

To Reproduce

Expected behavior
Running the CWA should work in a flawless manner on official "Googled" devices as well as on custom ROMs without notifying a system root if it is not the case.

This has nothing to do with microG but CWA detecting something in your rom that it doesn't like. See also here for some discussion around this: scottyab/rootbeer#147
