Québec ecological data

This repository includes all the R codes to extract and format different datasets I used for my PhD projects.

The publicly available datasets include:

Tree surveys

• Québec forest inventory program
  • More than 12000 forest plots surveyed between 1970 and ongoing.
  • Soil and disturbance data at these plots

Climate data

• Historical monthly bioclimatic data for Canada

Disturbances

• Canadian National Fire Database
• Québec insect outbreak polygon datasets (under the Perturbations naturelles tab)
• Québec forest intervention and reforestation polygon datasets
• Québec natural disturbances polygon datasets
