Would be nice to make this work.

In Slack, David provided some helpful additional advice:

whether it works or doesn’t work is REPL dependent
and all of them manage this by tracking the loaded set in the JS environment via Google Closure
goog.dependencies_ specifically
sometimes this breaks because GCL changes the details
