EMD Factor and threshold

In the computation of the default ground distance matrix for the EMD, the Euclidean thresholded distance with a factor of 3000 and a threshold of 1000 is used. This results in a matrix that is 0 on the diagonal and 1000 everywhere else.

In O. Pele and M. Werman, “Fast and robust earth mover's distances” they achieve the best results with a factor of 1 and a threshold of 20 in the presented example. Maybe we could use these (or similar parameters).
