Please add the ability to play the selected Message Alerts in the Settings menu. When selecting the message alert, please add a "Play" button to the bottom of the selection window in addition to OK and Cancel. This will let you listen to the selected ringtone.

Thanks for this proposal.
Currently, MUI (as an app) does not control the audio directly, but this is done by the notification module in the firmware.

@thebentern What do you think about adding a protobufs admin command to play the current ringtone?

Fun fact: this could also be used via BT phone app as a "Find my node" :)

Absolutely! I've had this thought before, after losing my T1000-E in my car
