How to clear the input?

How can I programaticaly clear the file input?

I've tried binding it to a model like the following code, setting that model to null, but it didn't worked
<ngx-mat-file-input ... [(ngModel)]="myModel"></ngx-mat-file-input>

Any advices?

I started worked on a new feature to ease the possibility to clear the input.
It would also come as a workaround for an issue with Firefox that doesn't triggers change event when a user cancels, instead of selecting the file(s) to upload.

The documentation and example will arrive at the same time :)
