There is no API currently but there is this possibility to add the app to the home screen via Chrome/Safari and other mobile devices. When you are using the site after logging in, you should see a modal window asking if you would want to add it to the home screen. On Android and Chrome this is done automatically but on Safari, this should be added manually. Afterwards, it should be used like an application.
