First Check

  • This is not a feature request.
  • I added a very descriptive title to this issue (title field is above this).
  • I used the GitHub search to find a similar issue and didn't find it.
  • I searched the Mealie documentation, with the integrated search.
  • I already read the docs and didn't find an answer.
  • This issue can be replicated on the demo site (https://demo.mealie.io/).

What is the issue you are experiencing?

There is an inconsistency in how Food data is displayed.

In recipes, some Foods are highlighted in bold, indicating their existence in the database.
However, when navigating to Profile > Manage Data > Food Data, an older version of the database is displayed instead of the updated one.
The updated Food data appears only after:
Switching the application language (e.g., French to English).
Using a different browser or device.
Waiting several hours (intermittent behavior).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add or update Foods within a recipe.
  2. Navigate to Profile > Manage Data > Food Data.
  3. Observe that the displayed data does not match the recently updated Food data in the recipe.
  4. Change the app's language or access the application from another device.
