I have an association field with the following settings (Symphony 2.6.1):

Only a single item can be selected. If one is already selected I have no ability to search for another item to replace the currently selected one. I can only choose from the ones currently visible in the list. There is a blinking cursor but no way to input text:

Hmnnn, ok. I have to press backspace and delete the current entry in order to be able to enter a search term. This works, but is not very intuitive. Maybe having the remove-Button/Text available here would help to make it clearer?

I kind of »fixed« this in my UI-redesign pull request.
