Ticker not consistent

I am having issues with the plugin for a number of reasons. Firstly, I'm setting the startEmpty flag to true, but it doesn't seem to make any difference to the ticker. It starts with full text. Secondly, I have noticed that randomly the ticker will scroll to the left and then show the same text again when I have an array of around 35 items. Seems to only be after the ticker first initializes. If it has been running for a while, it seems okay, but if I update it, I get the same problem. And thirdly, the gap inbetween items in very inconsitent. At some points, the gap gets very large between items and then the text will just automatically appear. Even though my ticker is set to continous, I have noticed that sometimes the ticker will scroll all the way to the left and even scroll offscreen before the next item appears.

Overall, great plugin though.
