Vertical and Horizontal Images in same gallery

There doesn't seem to be a setting to all both horizontal and vertical images to exist in the same gallery without an issue with how they are displayed. For example, I have 4 vertical images and 1 horizontal image. All the vertical ones fill the space top to bottom while the horizontal one is shrunk to be the same width as the vertical image leaving a large white space beneath it.
