typedoc is good but something specific to angular is a lot more useful. Need to send a few PRs to compodoc first:

way to make things private -> fix: exclude internal members from generated documentation compodoc/compodoc#53
exclude any module dependencies that aren’t generated -> Hide broken module links compodoc/compodoc#75
show output $event type ->Show output $event type compodoc/compodoc#78
option to disable the graph -> feat(disableGraph): add an option to disable the graph compodoc/compodoc#54
