I have connected my Google account but I am unable to see calendars shared with me.

I hope to be able to see calendars shared with me and create events on them as well

I have the same issue. I am not familiar enough with the Google Calendar API or GO, but it appears that only the default calendar for a user is accessed in the plugin. I also have not found a way to tie additional calendars to a user in the Google Calendar API config.
