Cannot accept or reject direct chat invite from a user on a down homeserver

Description

Someone sent me a direct chat invite and I cannot accept or reject it

Detailed explanation

• Someone sent me a direct chat invite
• That person is from a homeserver (different from mine) which is currently down
• On Riot, I click on the invite, then click on "accept": I get a "Failed to join room" message saying "No known servers"
• On Riot, I click on the invite, then click on "reject": I get a "Failed to reject invite" message saying "Not a known room"
• On Riot, I click on the "..." to the right of the invite, then click on "reject" and "OK": I get a "Failed to reject invitation" message saying "M_UNKNOWN: Not a known room"

Think this might be a dup of #2181. Have you tried flushing your client cache?
