Background information

  • Dendrite version or git SHA: 0fbebec
  • Monolith or Polylith?: Monolith
  • SQLite3 or Postgres?: Postres
  • Running in Docker?: No
  • go version: go1.15.6 linux/amd64

Description

When trying to export my encryption keys from Riot web I get this error:

Unable to create key backup

journalctl -u dendrite and /var/log/dendrite/Monolith.log don't seem to show any helpful error messages.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Run Dendrite
  2. Create a new account with Element web
  3. Try to export encryption keys
