Any chance of a Visual Studio extension?

Visual Studio Icons = 😞

I was fortunate enough to find the GitHub Dark theme for Visual Studio that I use in VS Code, but when I went for my favorite icon pack, your Material Icon Theme, I discovered that there's only one icon pack extension for all of Visual Studio.

(and obviously, sadly, it's not yours)

I'm not saying it's useless, but yours is ✨fancy✨. For reference, you can find the aforementioned icon pack here

TLDR:

If you have any intentions to adapt this extension for Visual Studio- or point a novice developer (who is also a very fast learner) in the general direction of where to begin, I would be greatly appreciative.

Hi :) It sounded like a nice idea and I evaluated the extension API of Visual Studio a bit. Unfortunately, I've found out that it seems quite hard to create an icon extension for this IDE. Extension authors can only apply icons to file extensions and not file names. In addition one can only use PNG icons and not vector graphics as in VS Code. This demotivated me a bit because it seems very unhandy to create an icon extension for that.
