Expected behaviour

laptop with one external monitor(also primary), placed above the laptop monitor. Disconnect
external monitor. Then all windows(e.g MATE terminals) should move to laptop monitor.

Actual behaviour

The windows that was placed in laptop monitor before disconnecting external monitor are not
accessible, these are mapped outside laptop view

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

place external monitor directly, as primary, above laptop(or to the left/below) and save.
open Terminal and place it in laptop monitor. Disconnect external monitor. Now Terminal
windows is no longer accessible.

1.28

I don't see the code handling window placement at all

Window moving code would be in marco, just as icon moving code would be in caja. The settings daemon does not handle either of those directly.
