How would a person hide the article preview pane?

I've looked in the config.ini file and am unable to find a way to hide the article preview pane?
Is this possible to do?

I'm trying to make the style of the reader as minimalistic as possible.

Tools -> Settings -> Feeds & articles -> Articles -> Disable "Keep article viewer always visible".
