Marp for VS Code is now shipping a web extension, that is covering environments such as vscode.dev and github.dev. You can immidiately preview and edit Marp slide deck, without installing VS Code to local!

Hit . key at any repository to open github.dev, and install Marp for VS Code extension. It works as almost same as local VS Code, in wide devices including the tablet device such as iPad and Chromebook! (It means the web extension can replace an obsoleted Marp Web)

Limitations

• Export command, that is depending on Marp CLI, does not work on the web because the browser cannot run Node.js. This is a limitation that has come from web extension itself and we have no plans to fix. Please use VS Code that is installed to your local. If you want to keep accessible from web, GitHub Codespaces provides a full-featured VS Code environment.

UPDATE: VS Code team has shipped vscode.dev. This is a second web interface of VS Code in the next of github.dev. Of course, Marp also works on vscode.dev well!
