prevents rendering of Jupyter notebooks on Github

If this extension is active, opening any Jupyter notebook (e.g. this ) on Github yields an error "unable to render code block". Deactivating this extension and reloading the page renders the notebook.

I ran into the same issue.
And I want to mention that, as an imperfect workaround, it's possible to blacklist https://github.com/*.ipynb and have the notebooks load at the expense of not having the gestures on that page.

This is however not a true solution. The exact mechanism of the bug remains to be determined and its extent is likely broader than just notebooks on github. It might even explain some malfunctioning websites here and there.
