Algolia powers the search and "past" features of Hacker News and the design is similarly dated.

Example:
https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=false&query=CSS&sort=byDate&type=story

This is a big lift and technically a different site so potentially beyond the scope of a single UserStyle.

Needs further investigation.
