Should I install Android Studio 3.0 now?

Personally, I always work with IntelliJ. But here on a Windows computer had problems with the Gradle PlugIn, which absolutely wanted AndroidStudio.
I haven't tried it on Mac yet. But I would prefer IntelliJ.

IntelliJ works with Gradle 4, I haven't tried the Android plugin 3 with it, normally should work too.

Gradle has changed a lot in this major version and was a bit difficult to fix all modules building again with the new required dependencies API. So extra care is needed.. 🙂

Sorry for the late reply.
But I had some problems because my iPhone 5 is no longer supported.
Here I had to install older versions of some tools.

But yes, the update to LibGdx 1.9.7 works with the latest RoboVm version 2.3.3
