mapbox-gl-js version: v0.53.0, v0.54.0-beta.2
browser: Safari 12.1 & TP on MacOS

Apparently this was broken for a while because it's reproducible with the current stable version. It is likely related to the examples being embedded in iframes. Nope, reproducible with just a simple map too.

Steps to Trigger Behavior

  1. Open any GL JS map

Expected Behavior

Logo / attribution is displayed.

Actual Behavior

Logo / attribution isn't visible until you click on the map.
