I've developed a commercial version of the integration myself. however , I saw there is area of improvement to the code and we can make it more maintainable.

No worries I'm thinking of creating a new PR for replacing a php curl with the build in curl function in wordpress such as https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_remote_get/ and wp_remote_post it will be handy for unit testing and ERROR handling for wordpress
