In Maemo Leste, we use a specific git workflow for building packages. Find the instructions here: https://leste.maemo.org/Development/Building_Packages#Maintenance_workflow
Then if everything is in order, someone will set up a repository in this organization, adding your Github account, and reply to your issue.
