Implementing a GridSizer for alignment instead of absolute positions may help what looks to be a clipping/overwrite issue.

...which would be quite an undertaking. The service status are retained by reference and updated in various parts of the code.

This is still the case with 9cc75cd.

The culprit is either that other UI elements are painting over them or there is something wrong with the logic that is preventing the column from being painted.
