Why is CPT code 90834 categorized as "Psychotherapy-60-minute" for encounter type? Is encounter type "Psychotherapy-60 minute", actually defined as both 45 and 60 minute psychotherapy codes?

45 and 60 minute psychotherapy encounters are grouped together into individual PSY. After talking with physicians bout this we decided one hour is still the most precise estimate for both 45 and 60 minute psychotherapy encounters.
A true 60 minute encounter would take over an hour by the time you chart etc. With a 45 minute encounter you would still need time to chart, etc. and would not have time to fit another encounter between 45 minute and the hour.
