[Feature Request]: Copy text into new note without removing it from the source note

I have a note with a list of quotes from a paper. I highlight a quote and put it into its own new note. However, I want the original note to maintain a copy of the full quote, because in the new note I will rewrite that quote into my own words. I don't want to lose the quote itself.

Perhaps provide a template parameter called {{original_text}} or something like that that I can use in the "note link template".
