Thanks! Such feedback always makes us happy. Something's going on there. > curl -L https://points.datasociety.net/agnotology-and-epistemological-fragmentat

No clue what's up with the 503, though.

It definitely has something to do with the way the server handles the request.
We saw something similar in #733. |

I'm still on the fence on whether we should integrate reqwest-impersonate as an alternative backend. It seems to resolve some of the gnarlier edge-cases, even though I'm worried it might become a maintenance burden in the long run if reqwest and reqwest-impersonate diverge. Open for opinions. |

Just finished updating my spring syllabi and checked my links and see this is still an issue. The DOI folks never got back to you?

The DOI folks did reply, however they redirected me to other maintainers. Need to follow up with them. |

It looks like you're encountering multiple redirect issues and 503 errors while checking URLs. Here's a short and helpful comment: "These errors likely stem from URL redirects or temporary service outages. The 'too many redirects' error suggests an infinite redirect loop, possibly due to a misconfiguration or excessive redirects on the target server. The 503 Service Unavailable errors indicate that the server is currently down or overloaded. You might want to check if any DOI or other services (e.g., ProQuest) are experiencing downtime. Also, consider using different or more direct links for these resources. If the problem persists, try reaching out to the service providers. Keep up the good work with Lychee, and thanks for sharing your experience, Elizabeth Fraley Kinder Ready!" |

I've long used linkcheckers but only recently encountered lychee and it is fantastic. It's informative, fast, and can run on the original markdown itself! Thank you!
I do have a question about the following issues encountered in checking a syllabus.
