Expected Behavior

When you start the slideshow, it should also send you in fullscreen. When you stop the slideshow, you remain in fullscreen. And when you leave fullscreen while the slideshow been active, it should also stop.

Current Behavior

Currently, when you activate the slideshow, the display status(fullscreen/windowed) doesn't matter.

Possible Solution

as explained in "Expected Behavior"

Context

This copies the behavior from eom, eog and gewnview, and probably others.

The program is meant to be a simple image viewer. Do you need a slideshow, that is not in fullscreen? Maybe for ebook readers, but not here.

System Information

i'm actually a user of the 0.14.1 version. I didn't actually installed the latest version, i just read the change log.

  • Distribution & Version: lubuntu 20.04
  • libfm-qt Version: 0.14.1

I see no reason for enforcing the full-screen state with slide-show (please don't try to convince me how cool it is) but if many users want it, its implementation will be a piece of cake. So, we'll wait for others.

maybe add it as an additional function? Call it, "fullscreen slideshow"? Only in the shortcut editor?

That's acceptable.
