Ive been trying to get the battlenet launcher to work for some to to play wow and any advice on how to resolve the install problems would be greatly appreciated 🤟 If i follow the battlenet installer it gets stuck at 45% then an error shows up saying whoops looks like something broke with he error code (BLZBNTAGT000008FC) and then if i either exit the installer at the beginning or just keep waiting for the lutris installer to complete then run it again i get the error (The file /home/user/Games/battlenet/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Battle.net/Battle.net Launcher.exe could not be found)

Adding --lang=enUS --installpath="C:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net" to the argument option in settings then downloading then blizzard installer renaming it to the launcher name and placing in the launch directory then just starting the launcher has gotten it working for me

I encountered the same issue installing Battle.net. The workaround fixed the issue for me, though I had to manually create the "Battle.net" folder in "Program Files (x86)"

I'm having the same issue, can you clarify what you mean by "renaming it to the launcher name" ?

Lutris is configured to look for a "Battle.net Launcher.exe", so the setup must be renamed for Lutris to pick it up. This will cause Lutris to execute the setup again, instead of the dysfunctional launcher. Then, you should be able to properly install the launcher (which replaces the setup exe with the real launcher exe) and re-launch a functional launcher from Lutris.
