Mashtree being stuck

I am trying to run Mashtree on 2500 bacterial genomes this is the command I'm using it

mashtree --numcpus 47 --file-of-files third2500.txt --tempdir /madhu/noor_work/temp > /madhu/noor_workmashtree_outputthird2500.dnd --mindepth 10

when i run this following command at one point of time it keeps getting stuck and frozen here with the following message, is there any way to check and move forward

mashtree: mashDistance: Waiting to join thread (3/47, TID48)

I'm not sure what might cause this except some kind of lock on the hard drive. Could you run it again with fewer CPUs or even 1 CPU to see if it helps? You can use the same tmp dir to pick up where you left off.

@madhubioinfo Can you confirm how did you install the dependency Mash ? . Any chance you have compiled it from source with GCC compilers ?.
