unlikely response times #315

I have a test here: https://github.com/bbc/locust-load-tests/blob/master/tests/makespace/makespace_get.py, and when running Locust gives me response times of 4 or 5 seconds. However, when I curl an AUT URL from the same box, the response times are in the milliseconds. I am wondering why the timings are so different?
