Messages appending to top of list

I'm trying to implement this library based on the WeChat example. I very likely screwed something up as new messages are being added to the top of the list versus the bottom.

I nearly copied the example verbatim as a proof of concept to get this going. I'm trying to figure out I screwed this up. Can somebody point me in the right direction? What code files would you need to see?
