Request: a search field for broadcasts

Hello, I was reviewing this issue and have a question. After examining the API docs i could not find a direct way to query broadcasts. I also inspected the requests sent by browser during broadcasts searches but didnt find any useful endpoints.
Assuming i am not missing something, it seems that the only way forward for now would be to keep fetching the broadcasts with the same way and just filter the results with the search query. Would this approach be a viable solution in your opinion ?
