[Feature Request] Can the homepage display a playlist? #17239

As soon as you enter the homepage of most emulators, you can see many games.
Once you select a game, you can start playing it immediately.
However, the screen that enters retroarch is a menu.
You must first select the list, then select the playlist, then select the game, and then select execution to start playing.
4 steps vs 1 step is not intuitive for players.
I recommend playing the game directly when selecting it, and long pressing to enter the detailed screen such as execution.
Then add the option "Display on homepage" in the playlist details screen.

Honestly RetroArch should have a option or default to start up with the last game played focused if it was in a existing playlist and is still there.

I almost always just click History, and then the first item in that list. While it might be nice to just launch directly into the History list, it's certainly not encumbering to have to do so myself.
