There are a lot of things that we take for granted in setting up the AFMs. For example, the use of Output A in the Asylum software. Having an experienced user make a page in the wiki for each supported AFM and how they are set up and lithography is performed would be good for both users in and out of the lab.

I did a short write up on setting up Asylum and Nanosurf AFMs in terms of getting the software up and running/communicating with the lithography program.
