Start with r90 - example code from @MoritzNeuberger https://github.com/MoritzNeuberger/postproc/blob/main/src/postproc/modules/r90_estimator.py

DT heuristic requires some clustering:

What clustering algorithm to use?
potentially DBScan https://scikit-learn.org/1.5/modules/generated/sklearn.cluster.DBSCAN.html
