The editor maximum width setting provides the nice ability to size the appearance of the writing section.
When this setting is used in the WYSIWYG setting however, it is not taken into account in the appearance in some situations.
This issue is circumvented by closing the note and reopening it again, but it impairs the flow of working with the document.

  • When starting a new line after the first H1 title.
  • When starting a new line in general, after the first

Environment

Joplin version: 2.3.5
Platform: Linux
OS specifics: Pop!_OS

Steps to reproduce

H1 Title

  1. Set the editor maximum width to 1000
  2. Create a new note. Ensure the wysiwyg setting is turned on
  3. Create an H1 title on the top of the page
  4. Hit the enter button behind the title to start a new line
  5. Verify the new line starts without an indent, but starts completely on the left
