Environment

Joplin version: 1.0.245
Platform: Windows
OS specifics: Windows 10 Pro 2004 19041.508

Steps to reproduce

  1. Press F6
  2. Enter a search term, e.g. "markdown" (Notes 1, 2, and 4 of the Welcome Notebook contain this term)
  3. Select one of the Notes listed in the search results, or leave the first one selected
  4. Click "All notes"
  5. Joplin acts as if the Notebook containing the Note shown after step 3 was clicked, and does not show all Notes. UI indicates focus on the Notebook containing the Note from the search result.
  6. Click "All notes" again, now all Notes are shown and UI indicates focus on "All notes"

Describe what you expected to happen

Clicking "All notes" should always show all Notes.

This has been a persistent issue for me for several releases, I don't remember if it ever worked as expected. Would love to hear if others can reproduce this. Not attaching a log file for now, but if I'm the only one with this problem, I could get it.

Thanks for the commit in 1.2.2. I'm still experiencing some unexpected behavior.

Clicking on (All Notes) always brings up a all Notes. But often the list of Notes is scrolled very far down. It seems that the most recently selected Note is just below the viewport. The Note sorted before the Note most recently selected is the last one visible at the bottom of the Note list. I have to scroll to reach the top with the most recently edited Notes, unless the most recently selected note is also in the top 31 (depends on window size and resolution) most recently updated Notes.

I think the intended behavior for (All Notes) should be to show the list of all Notes in the selected sort order starting from the top.
