Plugin does not seem to care for theme

I am using the dark mode of obsidian and I have to say that the white font on the bright yellow box is hard to read. On the other hand, the star above is purple, even though my actual theme color is different.

With this horrible contrast is it unsable.

It's very unfortunate this hasn't been updated in so many years. This color arrangement is terrible.
