Drupal multisite subpaths

When I try to install multisite drupal with sub paths the way is to install the directories inside sites folder and make alias to the same installation with the name of the subpath. i.e. for demo subpath you need to: ln -s . demo inside the root dir and mkdir sites/domain.dev.demo

I cannot figure out how to make this with Valet. it works automatically with mamp, but I really got comfortable with valet and I don't want to switch back to lesser solutions.

Here is the DrupalValetDriver frontControllerPath method, I think it could be done with some changes in this method but I could not solve it :(
