I replied in the other issue because it has more details, but I'll leave this open just in case the problem is on this side. |
Can you try this release to see if it works? |
Nope, no dice. I did not change my timezone this time, keeping with my standard European/Berlin one. Logs from strfry as before:
|
BTW, reported version is I did install the MSIX, it auto-opened the app, and that is what I used to test. |
Hm it seems like you're still running the old version. Can you try this one? |
Had to re-install it; Windows complained about the installed version being equal. So I opted to un-install my current version, re-install, re-add my key and add my own relay then. After that:
Reported version: |
Would it be possible for me to look into your database? Maybe you can make a clean installation and create a disposable account and try to push some events to your relay. I'd like to see if the events are stored OK. The database should be located here |
Hello!
I was setting up a relay and encountered the problem that writing my notes and alike to that relay returned a lot of "bad id" errors: hoytech/strfry#49 (comment)
As I am not very familiar with the Nostr protocol's depths, all I can do is share as much as I know.
I spent some time posting and reacting through Nostrid by logging in with my Private Key (
nsec...
). Some people even responded to me and such - meaning that somehow, somewhere my notes do get delivered and work. But when I attempt to use the
Upload All
button, I can see the events being sent in, but also rejected for having a bad id.As you can see in the linked issue, Hoytech attempted re-hash an example event I copied from the logs and got an entirely different ID.
Anything I can do or configure to make this work?
Thanks!
EDIT: Forgot to mention; I am using Version: 1.33.1+282fe274 from the MSIX package.
