Hi kungfooman,

I don't know much at all about eic and I was wondering if you had any experience with it you could share. For example, what programs used it? What was the development community like? Where were development and releases organized? Did any projects supersede it?

I came across eic from some embedded devices manufactured as recently as 2011, running firmware from 2005. They had apparently used a proprietary fork called Punix Universal C "derived from EiC V4.1.0".
