I uninstalled ankidroid and then reinstalled. After that I synced and now I am not able to see anything in cards created by using Anki image occlusion. Literally I am doomed.

Can you share screenshot? Also you can export the deck and share so that I can debug it.
Are you able to review older notes in Anki or not?

I have figured out the issues, because of scope storage the image are not stored in Android/data/com.ichi2.anki
It needs fix but the next version of AnkiDroid will have Image Occlusion inbuilt.

For fixing older notes you can copy images with file name start with cordova- from AnkiDroid/collection.media to Android/data/com.ichi2.anki/files/AnkiDroid/collection.media.
The directory is not accessible by normal file manager in Android. So you have to install other file manager from Play Store.

Also other solution should be

  1. install AnkiDroid 2.15.2 from GitHub or F-Droid release
  2. then backup and sync from AnkiDroid to AnkiWeb
  3. install AnkiDroid 2.16.2 Play Store, GitHub or F-Droid
  4. then sync from Ankiweb to AnkiDroid
  5. the notes will be copied to scope storage directory
