What was accomplished

• Service Worker Design Document and implementation for upgrading Worker, and invalidating worker for bad releases.
• Worker Termination for amp-script elements submitted. Work continues on alignment and approach and approach might change based on feedback.
• Alignment on creation of amp-quicklink or similar for prefetching content, removing feature from amp-sw.
• Proposal for new DOM Attr, syntax is being reviewed by browser vendors.
• --scan_json_casts, partially detects JSONObject -> SomeOtherType casts – leading to some success in removing error conditions, but not all.

Lessons Learned

• DOM Specifications take a long time to write, and receive a lot of great feedback from interested parties.

• Prateek is out on leave
• Kris is out on Jury Duty
• Kris is moving WorkerDOM to Transferables in a spike.
• Erwin is working on determining the heuristic for partial detection issue with --scan_json_casts.

--scan_json_casts, partially detects JSONObject -> SomeOtherType casts. closure compiler seems to change the AST on some files on bad casts. Need to find the heuristic why it does this or ask closure compiler team.
