Constant UI freezes

Description

Since a few updates ago, I guess around version 0.34.0 or 0.35.0, FluffyChat has been plagued with freezes on my phone (OnePlus 6 with LineageOS 18.1 which is Android 11).
It's so bad that I consider the app completely unusable.

The freezes take multiple seconds at a time, and only has periods of singular seconds of smoothness. It starts on the splash screen and continues through the whole app.

To Reproduce

I'm not sure... Get the same phone and/or Android version I suppose?

• Device: OnePlus 6
• OS and OS version: LineageOS 18.1, Android 11
• Installed version of FluffyChat: 0.37.0
• (Android only) Which store are you using: F-Droid
• (Android only) Are Google Services available: No
